When awarded this project, Spur Design was tasked with the Master Planning of more than 60,000 SF of existing and planned space, including the incorporation of eight (8) different projects in various phases of design or construction. These projects were being delivered through a variety of methods including Design/Build, Design/Bid/Build and through VA manpower. This SEPS driven programming study helped us to recommend an 8,200 SF addition and 16,000 SF renovation to the 1st and 2nd floors of the clinic. After conceptual estimating, we determined that the VA’s budget supported this addition and renovation (the original scope was an 8,000 SF addition and an 8,000 SF renovation).
