Our office space is located in the Design District of San Francisco, not traditionally known for real estate brokerages. Since the space was formerly an architectural hardware showroom, we needed to completely renovate the space for a brand new real estate agency looking to redefine the way agents work.Since the space is only 2,200 square feet, the challenge was to create a space that was visually different with a nod to green all within the confines of a small space. We called on Mark McCullough from OCD Interiors to help us achieve our vision. From an open space, we used recycled wood pallets from warehouses to add texture and warmth. With limited light, we used bright colors from our logo to create a sense of warmth and visual intrigue. The office concept was to create a "luxurious condominium" from an open space with no character. From the marble entry foyer, to the library with build-in shelving, to the client reception which doubles as a "living room," we wanted to create a space that represents a new brand. The most difficult part was working in the space through the remodel. This required all the work to be done at night so that we could keep our office open for business during the day. In fact, our new conference rooms were added over the course of a weekend! As a new general brokerage, we wanted to make sure our first brick and mortar location resonated our brand. After the renovation, we noticed a lot of walk-in traffic from design showrooms, employees in the neighborhood. Clients and agents were delighted and inspired by the new space we now call "home".
