We converted an unused bocce ball court into a vegetable garden for Clif Bar employees, restaurant workers and nursery school attendees to enjoy. We built the raised beds right on top of the bocce court-we didn't need to add DG or anything to the top. To warm up the space, we added a row of espaliered fruit trees across the back of the garden.
