The architects were commissioned to transform an additional space as a multifunctional conference hub and client zone in a building where an office of an international law firm is located. The property is located in the heart of Sofia’s old town in direct vicinity of some historical landmarks like Sveta Sofia Cathedral, the former Tzar Palast – now National Art Gallery , the Cathedral of Alexander Nevski and more. The design brief included the implementation of one small and one large conference room, a break area for informal meetings with a small kitchenette. The large conference room should accommodate up to 50 people and is divided into 2 smaller meeting rooms by a movable wall. All tables and chairs are foldable/stackable so that they can be stored in a special room designated for this purpose. The flexibility of the spaces, the possibilities for multifunctional use, as well as the contemporary feel and presence of art are among the main goals in the design approach. The spaces face Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard with a noble view of historical buildings such as the Austrian and Italian embassies. The choice of natural materials and textures was made in order to provide a clear and smooth interior experience in line with the company's philosophy.
