The site for this residential development along Cleveland Street encompasses the former campus of the Middlesex Hospital Annex. Developed in close consultation with the London Borough of Camden, and intended to strengthen the immediate Fitzrovia neighbourhood, the design of the housing cluster provides significant landscaped public areas, mixed-development, and both market-rate and social housing.
Restored and integrated into the complex in consult with English Heritage is the 18th Century Grade II Cleveland Street Workhouse, which was featured in Charles Dickens’ novel Oliver Twist. A mix of four- to nine-storey buildings complements the surrounding neighbourhood that includes commercial, residential, educational and healthcare facilities.
