St James's Square in London remains a largely unspoilt area of classical townscape, lessened only by the building that previously stood on this prominent site within the square. The mannered, contemporary classicism of the new Portland stone clad façades to the redevelopment of Cleveland House, further reinforce the established urban character. The development yielded 100 000 ft² of office space, a two storey basement unit and six apartments in an adjoining building in Rose & Crown Yard.
