The design for the Butler Health System’s Medical Office Building in Clarion evolved since the hospital system committed to purchasing the building in the late summer of 2020.
The 25,000 sf fit-out creates a comprehensive outpatient facility supporting nearby Clarion Hospital, a BHS facility. The DRAW Collective design team worked with the Health System to design a facility that will provide a convenient, one-stop medical facility for the Clarion community. It will contain a PT/OT Gym, Imaging Department with X-ray, Ultrasound, Dexa, Echo, and Mammography equipment, blood draw facilities, physician offices, women’s health, and cardiology.
The exam/treatment rooms are designed to adapt to the various medical specialties that will share the building in order to maintain flexibility.
A large waiting area on the building’s first level accommodates patients as well as a food kiosk, and access to the conference room and demonstration kitchen. From there, patients access services on the above floors.
