We were hired by talented developer and design build firm Cima Design Build, to expand and renovate this charming but run down bungalow in Clarendon.
As you can see from the photos, we were able to renovate and keep the original Bungalow feel in the front of the house, respecting the character of the neighborhood.
To the back and side of the house where there are no close neighbors, we built a large addition and carved out space with dormers under the large roof to result in over 6,000 square feet of living space. We underpinned the basement to convert the existing cellar into a real basement with a ceiling height of over 8 ft. We constructed a detached garage with a nice connection to the kitchen past a mudroom.
All electrical and mechanicals are all new, all windows and siding are new and all built-ins, bathrooms and the kitchen are all new and fully renovated.
Cima sold the house for a nice profit to a very happy buyer.
