Francis Cauffman, selected by Rendina, provided architecture, planning and interior design services for the Clara Maass Medical Center ICU/MOB addition, as part of the RWJBarnabas Health system-wide master planning and implementation efforts. The major expansion of medical office and ambulatory care space was performed in conjunction with a comprehensive replacement of the 32-bed ICU.

The scope of work also included the creation of an entirely new main entrance to the hospital. The modern brick and glass facade create a new and distinctive gateway to the medical center. In addition, Class A physician office space will be leased by Rendina - potential physician practice tenants include: Hematology/Oncology Suite, Ophthalmology Ear and Eye Clinic, and an Internal Medicine/Multi Specialty Clinic.
