In front of the Pushkinsky
Cinema, the Park is still there as a urban landmark. The aim of the design is
to insert green line as a radial border to the inside of the cinema within the
ramp that is in a urban scale. The proposal urges to preserve this symbolic
building and enrich its effects.
By applying the structure in
the outline of the ramp, there is an enclosure.
This enclosure lets meanings of Pushkinsky Cinema widen and the building
program, cinema, includes itself simultaneously into life by daily life programs.
Cinema is no more as a separated program and specialized statement that has
rituals. But, it keeps its existence by interacting in every instance.
The outline of urban ramp transforms
itself into the shell by shaping the roof within same structural technique. The
punctuated shell creates public spaces that could be utilized in a much longer
seasonal period.
