The City of North Vancouver has over 40 parks, including wilderness, sports, and urban parks.Problem Statement:
The
City of North Vancouver has recently modernized its branding for its
visual communications and signage. In order to standardize the
wayfinding,regulation, and identification signage in parks throughout
the City, space2place was hired to create an inventory of the existing
park signage and develop an implementation strategy for new signs.Design Solution: Following
a thorough audit of the existing park signage and stakeholder
interviews, a new signage manual was developed to expand and
standardize the current signage palette. A signage plan was created to
guide the efficient implementation of the new standards throughout the
City's Parks.
