The new facility features social areas with 1,400 SF specifically designated for seniors and a 1,830 SF teen center. The Center also has a shared 2,650 SF community multipurpose room with a lounge area. For children there is an outdoor interpretive play area with climbable sculptures of local wildlife – donated by the office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavksy. The outdoor area also includes a trail that connects to other hillside paths.
