In this
house, a long and thin, high concrete wall creates an element of separation
between the private space of the house, more intimate and protected, and the entrance
route that brings the visitor to the building. Despite the simplicity of the
functional layout, the design is geared towards lightening the mass of the
solid by offsetting a number of parts which correspond to the principal
domestic spaces (garage, living area, bedrooms). Skilful use of geometry and
alignment and the dialectic between the various materials, such as the
dark-coloured render of the terrace that contrasts with walls in render and
concrete, establish a language that, through continuous extension, defines the
figurative dimension of the house.
