The principal idea of the Circle Sukhumvit 11 is innovative and wellness. It began with how to bring lifestyles of living in a house to a condominium. The architect starts initial concept with the way people approach unit; imagine people come back from work, park their vehicle in front of their place and be able to walk directly to their front door without passing through a central lobby like in a typical condominium. There are fifteen units with a private sky car park that transport via car lift at the Northeast corner of the building. Furthermore, the rest of the parking is designed to use a fully automatic system in order to eliminate driving in the project, therefore, reduce engine emission.
The building form and facade have two appearances. Majority area of the building is straight form comprise of typical one- bedroom and two-bedroom unit, this zone fitted with full-height glazing with vertical ceramic print glass fin act as a sun-shading device. The other area is stacking boxes where special units are located. Each unit in this zone is different, some unit got a private swimming pool, some unit have garden, and some unit is duplex. This zone applied a curtain wall system with triple glazing unit and using the thermal-break frame to reduce heat transfer.
Every unit also has several items in term of wellness; there is Reverse Osmosis system (RO) to purify tap water, recycle wastewater treatment with grease trap that will be used for garden, Heat Recovery System which uses the heat from compressor to heat up water at bathtub and shower. Pre-cooled fresh air system& odor Ingress at every corridor. Moreover, eco-friendly building material includes fiber cement facade, stone coating, and terracotta.
Facilities are cascade from 17th floor to 20th floor comprise of a Swimming pool with aqua music system, kid pool, spa, jacuzzies, sauna, fitness, mini theater, and library. These multi-stories facilities are linked with green path.
The project is located at Sukhumvit 11 where is quite busy with hotels and shops. There are many pedestrians including tourists walk the street. However, the street has no sidewalk. The Circle Sukhumvit 11 not only add more green area to the neighbor but also giveaway one meter along the property line to be a sidewalk.
