A lovely garden, the
smell of saltiness, the windows on the sea and an incredible view.
It's everything the best you can wish for in this house to the Cinque
Terre.
On these rigged
coastlines, the architect has created one of the few houses built
from scratch in the last years in this area.
A unique location, the
sea as an integral presence that blends the lines and the history of
the place and its contemporary in this land of strong features.
The surprising result is
the creation of a cozy and intimate space in which we can reclaim a
portion of the sea.
The project consists in
the creation of small volumes that are part of a single body for a
total area of approx. 100 sqm, with the ground floor that is the
living area and kitchen and upstairs sleeping area that consists of
two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The blue color features
the kitchen, covered with majolica slabs of Amalfi Coast and slate
workplan. In the living area between the various elements of
contemporary design appears the table in bleached oakwood designed by
the architect. On the walls alternating shades of white, gray and red
iron, cutting and layering made of plasterboard. Transparent sheets
of tempered glass protect the staircase leading to the upper floor.
The exterior of the house
incorporates the elements scattered on the hill, objects made of iron
painted white and anthracite, located on the terrace overlooking the
sea, reminiscent of the columns along the footpath, which contain
lanterns are lit at dusk.
To protect the two doors
of the house were designed two sunscreens Corten iron and aluminium
supported by tree trunks.
