We present the
Project with the concept of projection the cinema (its speed, emotionality, new
forms and trends) on architectural space and on the contrary. By taking a
strong stylistic beginning from cinematography the Pushkinsky Cinema Hall
should become self-sufficient and significant space so to give a new impulse
for the future cinema development. The cinema should force a person to forget
that he sits at the cinema and the cinema hall should force the person to come
back to the cinema over again. We’ve tried to create a space which will going
to help a person in his infinite spiritual growth in a co-authorship with a
quality cinema. Pushkinsky Cinema Hall has become as a symbol of renascent
Russian cinema. Thanks to its location, Pushkinsky serves a real reference
point within variety of modern cinema, creating a new approach to the
international film making. The priority we have to solve consists of correct
combination of two roles of Pushkinsky: as an integral part of the Russian
cinematography and respectable sample of modern architecture. The Pushkinsky
complex should become a monument to the cinema!
As a result of natural
development of cinematography technology and research of modern languages of
art expressiveness, film industry changes, updating forms and formats. The
project is directedon developing new ways of communication with the spectator,
who should become a real participant of screen act, completely plunging into a
magic filmland. Perhaps, thereupon it is possible to consider cinema and
architecture interaction. Recent trends in architecture testify the progress of
the most courageous and unexpected decisions. Realization of such decisions
demands conformity of a rhythm of human life to existing world tendencies. Moscow is a vivid example
of such conformity. Orientation to modern standards, presence of resources, great
heritage, the status of capital of the state, well-founded prospects of the
future – all of this allows to speak about Moscow as a modern megacity with changing internal dynamics of public life, and
external shape accordingly. Thus, it is represented to authors of the Project
timely and conceptually to realize the Project in the capital of Russian
Federation, as a potential center of crossing of actual world tendencies. New
forms of modern architecture and freedom of the cinema art expressiveness serve
as a means to implement the Project. It is the only combination that could
change not only external shape of a building, but also all our life as a whole.
