The Living word Assembly Prayer City was designed by Arch.Swaib Mbaziira.
The project is one of the creative and innovative designs that is yet to become an icon and landmarks to transform Uganda’s vision for the future.
The design was inspired by the abstract geometrical exploration of the holy spirit symbolically by the “flying white Dove” creating living and moving elements into the Holy space depicting the Living word (word of life). Holiness being one the core values of the prayer city it is being reflected in the purity of live forms and materials , pure elements like glass and a composition of moving elements to symbolize life direction towards the holy space, heaven.
The link addresses issues of emergency evacuation from the main sanctuary on first floor which relieves circulation traffic on ground floor as security measure and an assembly point.
The link enhances the calming geometry which is a response to the spiritual tranquillity of the pedestrians and expressing a fascination with the relationship between function, technology and aesthetics in a graceful structural form.
The viewing deck, enhances the souls relationship with nature in a more dynamic experience and reinforces community interaction and togetherness .
