The reopening of the Chloe store in Orange County, California launches a global approach to the new Chloe store design. Channeled from the timeless styles of the fashion lines, the architectural details aim to marry classic and contemporary elements into one cohesive and enjoyable spatial experience.
The ceiling light cove design, 3D wall panels and marble tile installation creates a symphony of angles and focal points throughout the store that allow the flowing fabrics of the ready to wear collection and soft curves of the accessory line to be perfectly featured.
Additionally, the intricate design of the brass merchandise rails create small shopping ‘rooms’ without erecting walls – still allowing the Chloe shopper to have a personalized experience through each area of the store. Imported champagne mirrors throughout the space reflect the custom 3D wall panels and brass detailing creating the illusion of a continuous salon experience.
The interior color palette remains soft and allows the bold colors of the clothing and accessories to be showcased. Hints of pink, most prominent in the 3D panels, perpetuate the subtle suggestion of shopping rooms, creating unique opportunities to display different aspects of the designer collection.
The main objective of the architectural design is to create a space that has strong details and individual features, yet collectively forms a soft and inviting store that distinctly aligns with the Chloe global brand.
