The focus was to maintain the historical significance of the two-story building from 1718 (formerly known as “The Old Corner Bookstore”) during the conversion of the building into this fast casual restaurant. The juxtaposition of the concept’s brand elements with the building’s exposed brick and structural elements was highlighted by the way daylight penetrated and played through the space. A custom pendant light fixture hung in the opening between the floors that draws attention to the upper level seating areas.
