combines the company’s global image with local context and meaning, custom
tailored for the location.
The industrial and
historical background of Pingdinshan is interlaced into the building and finds
its representation in one of the two volumes standing for past, history and
local tradition.
The second volume is
representing the outlook into the future, the development of china Mobile and
the city of Pingdinshan. The timeless façade of the ensemble will outlast fashion
and will not lose its elegance. The building inner organization and its state
of the art office surrounding provide an efficient and productive environment.
Besides the office and company environment
landscape and leisure features were regarded as important components. They tie
up the buildings with the urban context and the citizens of Pingdinshan.
Activated floor slaps, heat exchangers and other technologies common in modern
buildings help saving operation costs and make the building sustainable.
