Standing on the edge of the mountain 7000 feet above sea level, Chetzeron was previously used as cable car station, yet abandoned.
The first step of the project was to transform the existing restaurant into a more welcoming and friendly place, where skiers and hikers can enjoy a nice meal and the amazing view.
The bar and the lounge are situated to the north. The dining room and the terrace face south, overlooking the Alps. In order to relax and enjoy the place, the terrace stretches over several levels permitting a better view and more privacy.
One of the main preoccupations was to define the natural light, how to use it and how to adapt it to the different parts of the restaurant, and therefore creating the right atmosphere.
