This villa is located in the fields of Mara, Damavand, where the location is surrounded by a river on one side and a mountain on the other side. In our initial site visit, the calming environment which was a symbol of living and circulation, inspired us to create a form which is compatible with nature and reflects its virtual power as well Inspired by the idea of connecting river and mountain, we tried to find a regularity in the irregular waves of the river to form the initial walls of this building. All these walls extruded to the roof and connected to each other to shape 4 peaks (chartigh) and the reason behind that was the fact that Damavand is the highest peak in Iran and Middle east and as we wanted to display a symbol of this mountain in our building.
In addition to respecting nature, we tried to meet all the needs of the client. This villa consists of four floors with an area of approximately 300 square meters of infrastructure. The basement has direct access from the main entrance with stairs to the celebration hall which overlooks the backyard and river. This floor has spaces such as gym, installation and caretaker.
The ground floor has direct access to the main entrance from the street and includes spaces such as salon, kitchen and parking.
All the private spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room and living room are placed on the first floor and they enjoy the fascinating view of the backyard and river.
On the last floor, there are spaces like a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and locker room. Special characteristic of the swimming pool is the 5.5-meter console which emerges from the heart of one of these peaks like a river, to once again reflect the fact that chartigh villa is a villa that came from nature and wants to be a part of that.
