Drawing in the brick-and-mortar panorama of the West Village, this space transforms all things solid into light and air. Stefania Skrabak selected a palette of creamy neutral tones, punctuated here and there with patterns in an array of chenille and vintage velvets, at once unexpected and yet seamless in this contemporary urban loft. A custom marble fireplace adds an understated elegance to the open living area, nestled off with an L-shaped sapele iron and copper bar. Bedroom designs, variations on a tan and blues, blend romance with robust lines as if art deco had been spoken in hushed tones.
