Chao weds through its cuisine the various Southeast Asian cultures. It was imperative that the design of the restaurant reflect this philosophy. The design had to draw in from these cultures the right elements and embellishments that best represented their culture.
The pronounced differences in design were hemmed together with subtle elements so as to create a tapestry of Asian architecture that blanketed the entire establishment.
