Office construction is always linked with a 60x60cm modular elements catalogue: Screens, ceilings, technical floors and lights with a corporate related aesthetic. In many companies, in fact, this impersonal world disappears in the executive area, turning into a warm light domestic decoration.
There is still a craftsman network in Lima to do inexpensive custom work: For this refurbishment, glass have been cut in Ate, aluminium profiles in Chorrillos, desks have been manufactured in San Juan de Lurigancho, sizes 160x80cm and embodies cabling and stabilized plugs. Although polls say that salary and flexible schedules are the most valued things in an office, from 80x50cm call-canter cubicles to tech companies large boards, size and quality of the desktop is linked to work environment satisfaction.
The existing structure has half meter edge beams, with 40x25cm paths where air ducts, fan cooling, fire piping system and electricity go through. These specialties design have been done in parallel with the implementation, thanks to flexible small businesses able to integrate handicraft production in the site.
