Y/Surf/Struc is a large scale physical installation part of the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou. The project - currently exhibited in Paris on their 4th floor - is an investigation onto a dramatic change of morphology: from surface condition to distributed structural network - and computational ways to describe non linear shapes into a set of unique linear and planar components.
Y/Surf/Struc is a set of more then 7000 parts & 32 000 rivets.
