Intervention performed in synergy between public and private bodies for
the reclamation of the drying building of the previous sugar refinery
Eridania. The building has three floors: the first floor for private
trade use and the two floors upstairs for premises and an educational
centre for small and medium industry.The restoration centered mainly
on the renewal of the structures, of the steel trussed roof coated with
aluminum sheets. The indoor area was conceived as pliable, to be split
into different working units, though offering the perception of the
wide overall volume by means of the distribution on galleries and rooms
with double height.
