Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition 2009 – KOSMONAVТIKA
The task of the competition was to create an architecture of new type for a Сomunity Gathering Space. The Holographic gameplatform is a square platform made from white plastic. The platform is consists in twelve square elements five by five meters each. The total size of the platform is twenty by twenty meters. There is nothing on the platform but four stairs, which one can go up from the ground. Each of the twelve elements has two layers: a top layer and a low layer. The top layer is a net reproducing holographic images. So the platform can create flat horizontal and vertical holograms. The platform converts into the site where people meet, and it can be changed into the place for games, dance floor, sports ground, open-air cinema or a training class.
