The Center of Science and Technology is an advanced an interactive children’s museum, which is part of the Ayb Learning Hub Campus. The structure's design is inspired by the landscape of Armenia. Armenia has a very rocky and mountainous landscape with a complex and layered typography. Therefore, we chose to imitate the layered view and position the structure on leveled foundation giving the impression of a climbing mountain.
The Center of Science and Technology has an outside space connected to a ramp, which takes you up each level. There are scientific exhibitions and display areas on every floor, which are also visible from the outside through the large glass windows. The exterior of the structure houses spaces full of water, green spaces, and solar panels. Wood and concrete are also used throughout the outdoor spaces of the structure. The interior revolves around the science museum and you walk through each exhibition on each floor starting from the ground floor all the way to the top. To exit the building you must go back the same way you came, which symbolizes the widely used expression of scientists figuring out everything to figure out they they did not discover anything.
