The proposed project is for the exploration of the relationship of literature as a cultural activity, and how architecture can influence and be influenced by it in turn. Architecture, Literature and the city are intertwined.
Blackfriars Street has a straight relationship with the historical context. The area has an empty space that needs to be filled in order to link existing buildings.
The project’s facade takes its proportions from the surroundings. The 3 volumes show different functions as the glazed ground floor that opens the building to its community.
