Architectural and Interior Design Description
Celestia Villas is an exclusive collection of three luxury pool villas located in Pasak, Cherng Talay, Phuket, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and a tranquil residential atmosphere. Each villa occupies a generous land plot of approximately 650 square meters, with a built-up area 500 square meters. The overall design approach embodies a refined sense of tropical modernism, emphasizing privacy, openness, and a seamless connection with nature.
Architecturally, the villas are composed of clean geometric volumes arranged in split levels and separate pavilions, allowing each function—living, dining, and sleeping—to exist independently while remaining spatially connected. Large floor-to-ceiling glass openings invite abundant daylight and natural ventilation, framing views of the garden and pool while softening the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces. The private swimming pool serves as the heart of the residence, visually linking the main living areas with shaded terraces and outdoor lounges. Roof structures with deep eaves and high ceilings are designed to respond to the tropical climate, providing shading and airflow throughout the day. The restrained palette of materials—timber, stone, and textured concrete—expresses a timeless, resort-like warmth that blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings.
The interior design continues this philosophy of minimal luxury, balancing simplicity with sophistication. Earth-toned neutrals, soft stone surfaces, and warm wood textures create a calm, elegant atmosphere. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas flow effortlessly toward the pool deck, enhancing spatial continuity and cross-ventilation. Natural light remains the central feature of the interior, complemented by subtle indirect lighting that accentuates material textures at night. Furniture selections combine modern craftsmanship with comfort—built-in elements maintain functionality, while free-standing pieces and handcrafted accents lend character and tactility. The master suite offers a private retreat with a garden terrace, walk-in wardrobe, and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom, while secondary bedrooms maintain equal access to light, greenery, and privacy through carefully framed openings.
Sustainability is thoughtfully integrated into the design through natural ventilation, energy-efficient glazing, and the use of locally sourced materials. These strategies reduce energy consumption while ensuring comfort in Phuket’s humid tropical climate. The result is a residence that feels contemporary yet intimately connected to its environment—a calm, airy sanctuary that embodies the essence of tropical modern living with understated luxury and architectural clarity.
