CBRE's work space is reflective of the streamlined culture that is evident in the CBRE organisation. the outcome is a vast improvement to the organisation's workplace, staff satisfaction and general productivity, whilst evoking a calming aspect to the layout of the offices in Melbourne's CBD that are an extension of the spectacular views.
The grid configuration to reflect the Melbourne city planning and defining finishes translate to offer staff a variety of work settings. The work environment provides spaces to collaborate, open workpoints to work individually or collectively, and spaces to allow for focus in the midst of a busy work day.
The transformation for a dark palette in the core to a lighter palette is vital to the realisation of the design. Organic light forms and an incorporation of warmth and texture in the fabric features soften the linearity. Alongside a dynamic floor space, flexible work settings allows a seating capacity of 80% shared ratios in individualised 'home zones'. This space has casual meeting rooms and staff breakout areas.
