The Cavour Restaurant concept stems from the desire to
maximize the particular conformation of spaces, consisting of a succession of
rooms with barrel vaults, that make the local like a large "U".
To tie this series of interconnecting spaces we have
created a corian ribbon that starts from the extensive bar counter and frees itself
in the space, touches the end of the restaurant and then rewinds and rejoins the
floor. Its design separates the local in two parts: the large one with windows
overlooking the street and the inner one. Even the tables follow the curve
ribbon, and find their position in the outer part of the restaurant, with the
view on the road. The inner part, on the other side, is characterized by metal
baffles that seem to "peel off", and create a system of suspended
tables.
The chosen materials are a melting pot between
tradition and technology: from recycled wood to corian, from wrought iron to
black parquet. At the entrance, a massive sculpture in wood, consisting of
three sections overlap, welcomes guests.
