CAVED VILLAS IN CRETE
Harmony with nature characterizes our new project...
Our study for the new complex of caved villas with private pools is based on solid and essential points: respect for the environment, for society and for future generations. A project that takes heed of the Cretan landscape combining luxury and harmony.
The view-oriented complex appears to emerge from the earth and rise through the natural terrain. Each villa is served by its own private entrance thus achieving privacy in access. Despite the uniform form of the facade, each residence is separated and isolated by the vertical elements that delimit the individual courtyards. A key element with great importance for the climate of Crete is the canopy that unites the interior with the exterior, the light with the shadow. In addition, the play created by the combination of full and perforated canopy serves for the best insolation and ventilation of the villas, while at the same time offering users the enjoyment of the sun during the day and the night sky at night.
The buildings are developed on three levels: in the interior, specifically on the upper level, we will find the bedrooms, on the central level the living room, the dining room and the kitchen, while on the lower level, the private parking and the wellness areas, such as: hammam, sauna, gym, etc. The interior decoration on these levels has been designed in such a way as to give the feeling of a luxurious villa for leisure and relaxation, with stone dominating as a special decorative element. Memorable colors and textures create a complete set of separate residences.
An extension of the interior, the exterior continues in the same style with the materials and furniture complementing the result. Simple lines, earthy colors, sand and plants that thrive in the area, compose a harmonious landscape that fully follows that of Crete, minimizing the environmental and visual footprint. The complex has infrastructure that highlights it in all seasons of the year, with the views towards the sea and the swimming pools making it ideal for summer, while the interior decoration gives a special atmosphere for a winter stay as well.
