Cavalli Apartment

SIZE
0 sqft - 1000 sqft
This apartment is located in Rivercross, designed by John M. Johansen, and is situated on Roosevelt Island in New York City's East River.  Caroline Cavalli, an executive whose business required frequent travel and long hours at the office, requested an efficient design for the tight space in her studio apartment.  Living, sleeping, and dining areas were differentiated through the use of carpeted platforms.  The bed and dining areas were positioned to take best advantage of the views from this 19-story apartment, while built-in shelving and cabinets maximize storage space.
