New York Engineers was involved with the major renovation for the Catholic Cultural Center, located in NoHo, one of New York’s most desired neighborhoods. The space at the time existed as a 5 story building with a cellar; and has been reprogrammed into a multiuse complex consisting of a conference center, office space, hotel rooms, rectory space, 300 seat Broadway-quality theater and an events space with room with 200 people. Alterations included installing HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, electrical (light and power), fire alarm and emergency power systems. In addition, new water and power services were installed, and ultra efficient energy recovery and variant refrigerant systems were utilized.
