The concept of the house was to design concrete volumes supported by apparent metal structures adapting to the topography and vegetation in the land, the secondary structures are based on beams and wooden staves. These dimensions are very openly shaping the different spaces interlacing them in a three-dimensional way, the stairs are a vertical axis that links the three levels of the house and are wrapped by a glass box.
The concept of the house is to see how the different structures work and how they join among them, everything is visible, there are no panels or finishes on the structures.
The house is very closed towards the street and towards the sides, towards the gardens it is completely open with large windows.
The materials we used were concrete with apparent reinforced formwork, metallic structures finished in graphite colored automotive lacquer, the secondary structure is made of pine wood beams and wood staves that function as sunk formwork of the mezzanine slabs.
The floors and stairs are of Iranian Travertine Marble Silver Gray in large plates. The rest of the wall paneling which is not made of concrete is made of natural oak wood with open pore. The inner door is made of graphite aluminum with Low-E glass.
