The project was developed on a large, slightly sloping plot, which allowed for spatial generosity but also demanded a clear strategy to maximize orientation and the natural path of light. The clients seeking a warm and contemporary home had a very specific request: a double-height kitchen that would serve as the social and emotional heart of the house.
The main challenge was integrating this vertical gesture into a balanced program, ensuring coherence between scales, visual continuity, and a harmonious dialogue between interior and exterior. This decision became the guiding axis of the project, defining the layout and the architectural character that distinguishes Casa Sauce.
Casa Sauce was built using traditional techniques that honor the essence of the craft and the authenticity of the materials. The walls were erected with artisanal systems that prioritize solidity and natural texture, while wood, stone, and mineral finishes integrate to create a warm and honest atmosphere.
Each material is presented in its purest state, allowing its tones, grains, and imperfections to bring character and life to the spaces. This choice not only reinforces the home’s welcoming identity but also establishes an intimate dialogue between the built and the natural, making Casa Sauce a home that feels as warm as it is timeless.
