Sometimes as architects we are presented with unique opportunities, as this case was. This is a recurrent client with whom we had worked on several projects and this time we had the chance to find the lot, designing the house and decorating it.
The topography of the property led us to design the house in two levels, surrounded by an oak forest , on a sloping area that leads to a creek.
The access from the street is thought a vehicle ramp that ends in the first floor where we will find the reception lobby, living room , dining room and kitchen, master bedroom and the office; from there it descends to the lower floor, which has a game room and two bedrooms.
The views are oriented toward the forest and all the rooms have access to roofed terraces.
The architecture is of neo rationalist character, as well as the furniture , some of it was also designed by Pascal Arquitectos. Grey marble was used in the façade and in the reception area , and oak floors and oak ceilings, through the rest of the house
A collection, mostly of Mexican contemporary art, which includes artist such as José Villalobos, Saúl Kaminer , Fernando Aceves Humana , Oris Robertson, Ricardo Martinez an others, complements and enriches the interiors.
