A single house on the Brenta Riviera.
The building stands on the grounds of an old 70's house of little aesthetic value. The client asked for a building of small dimensions but which contained the necessary functions without excess and waste. The well proportioned lot has at its center a large elm tree that played a big role in the proportional balance between the void and the building. The house is conceived as a clean volume with a pitched roof to which clean volumes have been removed or added in a play of well-defined shadows. The system of sliding shutters contributed to creating different scenarios and to giving the building a changing image.
