Pilar and Pepe arrived to our office with no prejudice (architectural, moral, economic,...). Working in these conditions allows us the capacity for innovation we have always demanded but at the same time is a great compromise. A challenge.
This house is the project of a public space that seeks the precise relationship of all the spaces known as 'day zone' in a single programmatic area, removing the current walls in the house. We are interested in working on the creation of patios-microclimates that will provide us not only cross ventilation inside the house but a much more open and complex relationship with the exterior.
It also aims to be comfortable, effective. A meditated and studied project, adjusted to budget, where a planned construction guarantees us the execution in a short time.
But at the same time we will allow ourselves the luxury of re-creating a certain hedonism and a lot of pleasure for our inhabitants. That lack of prejudice is what has allowed us to tell our clients that their home will be "a spaceship" with the tranquility that there will be no vertigo. Because, in the end, what we are trying to do is translate this space into a luxury of colors, sensations and reflexes, a pleasure for the senses, an odyssey in space.
