Casa Pirul was born as an innovative concept: the harmonious integration between architecture and the environment where it is located. This project not only responds to the needs of our client, but also to the demands of nature, reaffirming our responsibility as architects to care for the environment and optimize the natural resources and materials available. Thus, we managed to merge the exterior with the interior of the residence in an efficient and sustainable way.
From the beginning, the meticulous selection of each material and finish used was prioritized, ensuring that they met the highest standards of quality and sustainability. The construction program was designed to maximize efficiency in construction and, at the same time, incorporate local materials and natural elements. This not only strengthened the relationship with the environment, but also fostered responsible economic and social development in the region.
As for engineering, we implemented an ambitious electrical system based on eco-technologies, such as photovoltaic panels that supply energy to the house, heat the pool and power equipment and accessories. On the other hand, the hydro-sanitary system was designed with a special focus on water management: rainwater is collected for use in toilets and irrigation of green areas, while grey, black and soapy water are treated before being drained into the drainage system.
For the structure, only materials from certified suppliers were used, guaranteeing the traceability of inputs such as gravel, sand and pine formwork. The latter had to come exclusively from sawmills operating under responsible logging practices. In addition, debris management was carried out in a strict manner, using only authorized municipal dumps designed for this purpose.
In conclusion, Casa Pirul represents a milestone for us: a project that, thanks to its volumetric design and strategic orientations, achieves high energy efficiency. This approach not only minimizes environmental impact, but also reinforces our commitment to ecology, all while maintaining a timeless design that will endure as a benchmark in sustainable architecture.
