Privacy and symbiosis
The Courtyards House makes the most out of the local geography, weather, and orientation in order to transform these elements in the house’s essence, and to state its personality. A two-story design harmoniously unifies the different spaces: abstract and tangible, up and down, outside and inside.
Its atmosphere fuses the nature of the environment using pure and simple lines geometry, materials such as exposed concrete, smooth finish concrete, wood, subtle textures and a monochrome palette.
A characteristic that is inherent to the Courtyards House, exclusively designed for this land, is the cross ventilation generated by the strategic location of its windows and a slope that the terrain offers in the north end, which gives rise to a multipurpose space: a media room, with multiple recreational uses.
Entry.
On its south façade there is the entrance and a sunshield system that, instead of revealing the interior, connects it with the exterior, generating an interesting scene, safe and protected from the weather adversities.
Upon entering the Courtyards House, there appears an interconnection space, which is the main feature of the entryway and connects both floors through a staircase and transparent balconies.
Symbiosis.
The social areas are distributed in the multispace on the ground floor. To the west, the kitchen is illuminated by a large window. The environment incorporates high-tech materials, such as quartz countertops that match the color palette, preserving the properties of the natural stone.
To the east, the living room is framed by a 9 meter long window. Its opening helps merge the interior with the exterior in a single room, and opens completely to integrate the gallery, which emphasizes enjoyment and connects with the internal patio crowned by the pool.
Privacy.
The upper floor includes two bedrooms, a playroom and another ensuite bedroom. A series of patios separate each room to provide greater privacy, a microclimate illuminated with a green view and excellent ventilation.
The ensuite bedroom has direct access to the infinity pool, which offers a view of waterfalls towards the gallery.
Casa Patio integrates the surrounding spaces and views in a 360º concept, generating privacy and symbiosis.
