Casa Occulta, located in one of the still preserved and harmonious areas of the Algarve, the Palmares Resort, Plot 62, shares its excellent natural views with the sea as a panoramic view.
The Plot is located on the south, being a natural amphitheater, allowing visual connections from various places, such as Alvor, the sandy beach and a large part of the Palmares Golf Course, resulting in perfect harmony with the natural environment.
The proposal it’s based on the creation of a house with environmental concerns, where the volumetric presents a modulation of 2 floors below the entry level. The Level 0 evolves in order to capture the best view existing at that level projecting from the ground towards the south, thus offering protection from the
prevailing northwest wind and resulting in a large covered outdoor area, protecting the spaces from both the
wind and the Sun.
This floor includes the public areas of the house, such as the living room, dining room, kitchen, service sanitary installation and in a more protected area, with two bedrooms and an office.
The entrance to the house (roof), allows you to have a general perception of the surrounding area of the house when you enter, developing in a small volume where the entrance area and parking are located, both sharing
the excellent view.
The floor below results from the need to create outdoor space, as well as the pool, since the natural profile of
the lot has a slope that does not promote its implementation at a higher level.
The level -02 has the function of parking, technical areas, gym, library and pool support.
The swimming pool results from the use of the natural slope of the land in order to create a perfect framing
for it with the least possible impact.
Natural light is a priority inside the house where the wide spaces, through carefully thought out openings,
create sea views in the most fluid areas of the house, allowing the creation of different shades in each room
according to the solar timetable in the south of Portugal.
