Casa NAM is a large horizontal plane that overlooks the city and the overlooking Villa Pottino, one of the historic villas in the center of Palermo. The project is the result of a division of a large apartment, over 260 square meters are redesigned to create two new units. The living room is the heart of the house from which the services and bedrooms unfold. The inclusion of numerous made-to-measure systems characterizes the rooms and allows you to filter the living area from the sleeping area. The entrance is divided by a wing that separates it from the kitchen, contextually an articulated system composed of wardrobes, open parts and a boiserie door leads to the guest bedroom and the service bathroom. The change of flooring between oak parquet and stoneware slabs distinguishes the two living areas: on one side the kitchen, where a large Dekton island with integrated table is placed in the centre, on the opposite side instead, a large bookcase is designed through which leads to the master bedroom area, consisting of a study-hallway, from bedroom and a private bathroom.
As for the materials, Canaletto walnut was used in contrast with the white lacquer for the custom-made furnishings, for the coverings, in addition to the large-format stoneware in the bathrooms, powder-coated iron and mirrored glass were opted for.
Everything has been taken care of with great care and in agreement with the client, from the choice of lighting to the furnishings.
