This beach house is located very close to Lima, so it was designed for year-round use.
The project explores the concept of the casa de pueblo (village house) and its interpretation of the house as a village. The design integrates concrete blocks as a fundamental element—the blocks serve as the house’s structure, the texture of its façades (creating a timeless finish that requires no paint or maintenance), and even functional details such as light fixtures made from the same blocks, simply rotated.
