The project’s development does not respond to a lineal sequence of events where there is an origin, development, and closure, but it fits into a complex weft of relationships where lots of elements take place: function, form and technique are studied from a space-time perspective. Two elements stay constantly present in this building: matter and space.
Contrary to the scenographic edification, in every project we care about creating places and spaces where men can dwell.
We relate to critic regionalism as we emphasize the emplacement f any architectonic piece starting from its place, its time and culture. Taking distance from modernism, but never forgetting the extraordinary achievements of it. Being critic over the responsible use of technology, we also update vernacular elements such as the yard, central space in the Mexican tradition which can be used as a lobby, distributor and gathering space.
Paul Ricoeur said: “Any authentic culture therefore to exist in the future would depend on our capacity of generating new forms of regional culture full of vitality, as with time incorporates outside influences into the grounds of culture and civilization.”
