Casa Laurel is located on a small 7x20m plot of land in a new coto near the city of León, so it has a beautiful view of the Mexican countryside, so you can take advantage of them in the common areas of the house instead of the private rooms, We decided to do something that is not very common in this area, switch the order of things, that is, send the private area of the house to the ground floor and upload the social area, that is, the living room, dining room and kitchen to the second floor. This allowed us to generate terraces instead of roofs and be able to extend the social area to the maximum. The restrictions of the coto did not allow us to generate a double height, so we decided to generating a gable slab, which became the main characteristic of the project. The best view is on the north façade, so we were able to open a large window that leads to a terrace, and from there you can enjoy the view. The south façade also has a large window but half the size of the north façade, which creates a very illuminated environment and gives a feeling of greater spaciousness.
