The house is situated amidst sandy dunes of Laguna Verde. The client’s main requirements were: beautiful, far-reaching views and a lively central space capable of gathering groups for activities. In addition, the house is accessible from all sides, as the neighborhood association did not allow any type of fence.
These factors determined the site’s distribution of program as well as numerous structural elements. Entry access is on the second level while the bedrooms occupy the first floor. A rampant staircase (76 x 17.5 cm.) connects the ground level with a teak deck and expansive views of the beach beyond. This interplay between beach and terrace creates a fluid transition from indoors to outdoors.
