Developed in collaboration with Najas Arquitectos, the project is not defined by scale or spectacle, but by its ability to hold space—for silence, for presence, for belonging. It is a home that listens before it speaks. A structure that doesn’t impose, but invites.
The design draws from Ecuador’s layered geography: the freshness of the coast, the stillness of the highlands, the warmth of the earth. These references are not literal—they are distilled into a palette of noble, sustainable materials and subtle tonalities. Stone, wood, and mineral pigments converge to create a tactile language that ages with grace. Every surface, every proportion, every void is intentional. The architecture becomes a vessel for light, shadow, and time.
“We weren’t interested in replicating a landscape, but in capturing its emotional resonance,” explains Camila Jaramillo, founder and creative director of Studio C. “Design, for us, is about crafting atmospheres that live beyond the visible.”
At 28, Camila has emerged as a distinct voice in Latin American design. After formative years in Spain and collaborations with leading studios in Barcelona, she returned to Ecuador with a clear intention: to elevate the everyday through thoughtful design. Her practice is rooted in conceptual clarity, technical precision, and editorial sensitivity. Each project begins with a narrative—a quiet idea that unfolds into spaces shaped by rhythm, restraint, and emotion.
Studio C understands design as a silent craft. A discipline where architecture and interiority converge to create environments that are not only functional, but deeply human. Here, sustainability is not a trend—it is embedded in the process. Materials are sourced with care, chosen for their longevity, their origin, and their ability to evoke memory. The result is a home that feels grounded, expressive, and quietly alive.
This residence is not a destination—it is a transition. A threshold between the exterior and the interior, between movement and stillness. It invites its inhabitants to slow down, to inhabit with intention, to reconnect with the elemental. In a world of excess, it offers clarity. In a city of noise, it offers calm
